Last week I went out on a 15 mile day hike and my feet were killing me by the time I was done. The hike consisted of a lot of bolder-jumping and by the end of the day I could hardly get my feet up high enough to clear them. I figured they have to make hiking shoes. Something lightweight and then I discovered these. WOW! They are incredibly light and honestly, some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I did 12 miles the other night (night hiking) and ended up running with them for about 6 miles. Incredibly comfortable! Couldn't have done that in boots if I wanted to.I'm impressed and blown away by these shoes. Fit perfectly. Update: A few months in with this shoes has been awesome. Actually I own two pairs in two different colors, brown and grey.I work for FedEx so I'm on my feet A LOT and I know my feet are comfortable because the comfort of my feet never even crosses my mind like it does while wearing other shoes. These $70 shoes are my go-to shoes when I want the utmost in comfort, I have owned A LOT of shoes in the past and the list goes like this, Ahnu, Scarpa, Lowa, Cushe, Icon, Teva, Keen, Salomon, Red-wing, Harley, Wolverine, Snap-on, Bates (my second fav), Adidas, Nike, Converse, Puma, Van's, (I think I left a few out, but I can't think of them right now) ranging in $40-$300, I hike, run, walk, exercise, you name it... Okay, I have never hiked up the side of a volcano but just about everything else. :) My name is Eric Davis, and I am a man of the world.... 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful longest lasting shoes I have ever had, This review is from: Vasque Men's Juxt Light Hiking Shoe (Apparel) I have owned these shoes for 2 years and they still are in great shape and will last for at least 2 more years.I have been very hard on these shoes, I live in colorado and spend alot of my time in the mountains hiking and camping. I have taken these shoes to Botswana and Haiti on 2 weeks missions trips which involved hiking through the bush and working at job sites building schools and they work flawlessly and are extremely comfortable. Very tough, comfortable shoes and will buy another pair if these ever wear out. |
